Motiva Method® offers an accessible place to begin—and a practice to return to. Through somatic coaching, movement and creative exploration, Motiva invites you to begin with what is present, notice what emerges and explore what feels available. Meaningful practice doesn’t have to exist apart from everyday life. A moment of awareness, movement, creativity or pause can become another place to begin. Motiva Method® uses simple, repeatable experiences in movement, creativity, reflection, and connection to help you notice what is present and discover what supports your return. You do not have to change your whole life. Begin with one thing you can practice today.
START HERE: Meet The Blank CanvasArt entered my own somatic practice during a time when injury changed my relationship with movement. Unable to move and dance in the ways I was accustomed to, I began listening to music and putting what I noticed onto paper—first through lines, then color and shading, watercolor pencils and eventually paint. There wasn’t a finished product I was trying to create. The practice became another way to notice, explore and stay curious about what was present. That exploration became part of the foundation from which Motiva Method® grew.
